Conditions of Hire

  1. Reservations The booking form should be completed and returned to Park Grange together with the deposit of £50 per week per caravan or the FULL AMOUNT for a short break. The balance, together with additional hire charges is payable not less than 28 days before arrival. If this is not received, the deposit is forfeited and the proprietor reserves the right to re – let.
    PLEASE NOTE that we do not accept bookings from groups of workmen contracted to work in the area.
  2. Cancellations    We are a small Park and we regret that deposits/payments may not be refunded if we are not able to re-let and/or incur costs as a result of cancellation. Hirers should arrange their own holiday insurance cover if required.       Balance payments for weekly or longer bookings may only be refunded if a cancellation is made 4 weeks or longer before the holiday date. Please read these Terms & Conditions plus Access Statement on our website. By making payment you agree to these.

  3. Breakages and Cleaning The hirer will pay the owner the cost of replacing any article or fitting lost, damaged or destroyed and also the cost of making good any damage caused during the hire period.
    The Hirer is responsible for ensuring that the Caravan is left in a Clean and Tidy condition upon departure. Failure to do this will result in a minimum charge of £20 being levied.
  4. Keys To be collected from the house on arrival and returned upon leaving
    Period of Occupation: Arrival: from 3pm – (if you would like to arrive after 6 pm please let us know)
    Departure: by 10am
  5. Liability No liability will attach to the owners in respect of personal injury suffered by the hirer, any listed person, guests or any person entering the caravan / site with his / her permission or for any loss or damage to property of same. No liability is accepted for change in facilities advertised. Should accommodation be unavailable, due to unforeseen circumstances, our liability is limited to repayment in full of any money paid.
  6. The applicants undertake not to do on their own part or permit to be done by persons deemed to be under their control anything which may, in the opinion of the owners, be or become a nuisance or annoyance, or which shall in any way interfere with the quiet or general comfort of other guests at Park Grange.
  7. Only the applicants (being those listed on the application form) shall be entitled to occupy the accomodation allocated for their use.
  8. No additional electrical appliances may be used (with the exception of radios, shavers & phone chargers) without prior approval. A charge may be made.
  9. Pets are NOT ALLOWED on the Holiday Caravan Park (including those in vehicles).
  10. Smoking is NOT ALLOWED in or near the Holiday Caravans.
  11. We do not allow Fishing Gear or Cycles  near to our Holiday Caravans [past the Car Park]. Secure storage is available on site near to the Car Park
  12. Items left behind/Forgotten.  Large items must  be  collected within 1 month. Small items will only be posted if costs of transport/packaging and postage are paid in advance [minimum charge of £20 applies]. All items will be disposed of if not requested or collected within 1 month.
  13. COVID 19. All Government as well as SITE requirements detailed at parkgrangeholidays.co.uk/covid-19/ will be deemed to be conditions of hire.

Breach of these conditions shall entitle the owners to terminate the booking without refund and to exclude immediately any unauthorised person and the applicants. Upon such termination the unauthorised persons and applicants shall be deemed to be Trespassers.

N.B. The owners reserve the right to refuse bookings from any all male or all female parties.

Our right to cancel

 We promise to keep all our customers safe. We ask you not to book if the law prevents you visiting or staying with us or if Government guidance means that you should not visit or stay with us, even if the law still allows you to. Our promise also means that there are limited circumstances in which we may need to cancel your holiday.

 We have the right to cancel your holiday, or any unused days, if the law prevents you visiting or staying with us. If your holiday has not started, then we will refund your booking in full less any costs we have already incurred on your holiday which we cannot recover elsewhere (“Direct Costs”). If your holiday has started, then we will refund in full any days unused when we cancel, again less any Direct Costs. We will not charge an administration fee.

 We also have the right to cancel your holiday, or any unused days, if Government guidance means that you should not visit or stay with us, even if the law still allows you to. If your holiday has not started, then we will refund your booking in full. If your holiday has started, then we will refund in full any days unused when we cancel. We will not charge an administration fee and we will not deduct any Direct Costs.
